At Tales from The Rock, we believe that stories connect us.
They carry our memories, shape our identity, and tie generations together. That’s why we’ve made it our mission to help you experience the wonder, warmth, and wild charm of

Why We Do What We Do
We started this journey with a simple question: What if we could bring the soul of the Rock to people, no matter where they are?
As an educator and lifelong story-lover, I’ve always been drawn to our province’s folklore, family legends, and kitchen-table tales. I’ve spent years sharing the magic of local makers and heritage-based businesses - but I wanted to go deeper.
I wanted to help people feel Newfoundland again - and so,
Tales from The Rock was born... from a love of storytelling,
a desire to help small communities thrive, and two grandfathers who both happened to be named Elias. (Yes, that’s where our storyteller gets his name!)
